How To Capture From VCR To Computer

Sometimes you might have old VCR tapes that you want to put on the computer, either so you can edit or simply to store them in digital format.

Again, there are many ways that you can do this.

The simplest for most people is to use their TV card – if you have one, if not you can get simple cards for around ?30/$50 or even less.

Then, simply take the output from the VCR into the input on the TV card, and you can watch your video on your computer screen. Finally, use the standard capture utility that ships with the TV card to capture the sections of video as you wish.
